The return of the Juvenile BBQ at the Dicksboro GAA & Camogie Club's grounds in Palmerstown on Friday evening last at the end of Summer Camp was a great success.
First of all, we would like to thank Niamh Holohan and Caoimhe Dunne-Dowling and their team of helpers for organising a brilliant Summer Camp, which was enjoyed by all.
It was great to see such a large crowd at the BBQ who enjoyed the matches played by the boys and girls from U6 to U12. After the matches, everybody enjoyed the lovely BBQ and ice creams – all taking place on a glorious warm Summer evening.
Thanks to those who worked behind the bar and shop, the car park stewards, the coaches who managed the games and those who cooked, prepared and served the food.
A special word of thanks to all the sponsors who donated prizes for the raffle – your support is very much appreciated.
Finally, to the BBQ committee, thank you for all the hard work put in to prepare such a brilliant event. The committee was led by Bernie Manning and supported by Jill Antropp, Eimear Harding, Tom Fitzpatrick, Brendan O'Neill, Julie Breathnach, Mick Harvey, Tanya Lenihan and Natasha Cuddihy.
