So our last few golfers are coming down the 18th fairway at the time of writing after a day & half of fantastic weather, plenty craic & some decent golf too.

Just a message to say a huge thank you to everyone who made this brilliant event possible. 

Firstly, a huge thanks to Michael Raggett & all at Raggett Homes who have come on board as the main sponsor of the golf Classic the last few years. Since the Raggett Family have come on board the event has really gone from strength to strength and turned into a highlight in the Boro year. The Raggett Family are steeped in the Boro for a long time now and are continually sponsoring the club for msny years. We really appreciate all they do for the Boro on and off the field.

Secondly, we would like to thank our other sponsors of the event who are outlined above in the Graphic. Again these businesses are frequent sponsors and friends of Dicksboro GAA & Camogie Club and their help keeps the Boro show on the road. Thank you we really appreciate it.

We would also like to thank those who organised the Golf Classic & worked in the Golf club today and last night to make sure the event ran smoothly. Special mention to Club Treasurer Jason Dempsey & Club Chairman Seamus Rochford who continue to do huge work on and off the field for the Boro. Thanks also to Kilkenny Golf club for all their assistance and thanks to all who played last night and today in the glorious sunshine. There was a fantastic atmosphere over in Glendine.

On the field tonight in James Park our U16 Camogie team won their league semi final with a fantastic win over Conahy Shamrocks in a great match.
